Eye To Eye - The World (Stephen Sheehan)

about

the music and words to Eye To Eye were written by Maureen. I want to give her additional props on this. in my experience being in bands., the majority of the time when a band member offered a song with lyrics, the music was usually ready or close to it but the words were usually not. it was up to me to continue writing the words and finish it seamlessly so it sounded like a unified idea and voice from beginning to end. not here. Maureen presented a completed and perfect song and the band followed her in leading the arrangement. I try to avoid thinking in terms of absolutes but if I were asked to pick a favorite song that i've ever performed in a band, this would be a top choice. I love this song and everything going on in it. so sexy.
