Less and Less - (Black Tie mix)

about

this is the 3rd and final release of the 3-song EP for Less and Less. this version is just me on vocals and Donovan Johnson on parlor piano performing live at Ware House Studios with Tom Ware engineering. it was this take that evolved into the 'single mix' that included guitars and keyboards by Bob Boyce and some background vox by your humble narrator. i'm including this unadorned version because it captured a great performance and i wanted the brightest spotlight possible to shine on Donovan's playing, especially on his rolling chords in the break.

as this wraps up all the versions of Less and Less, do me a solid and download one, some or all of them. and yes, please share these around wherever and with whomever. i'm testing the waters with these songs and will be gauging reaction to decide how to move forward. it's been a very long time since i've released music so finding a new audience (as well as reconnecting with old friends) is a bit daunting and slightly weird. thanks for listening and i hope you like these versions.

more songs i've done here, including Digital Sex: www.youtube.com/user/sundaramaji/videos

lyrics

releasing this final version on this day is strange for me as a woman i knew recently passed away who could have easily been the subject of this song. she is not but now this version of the song will for me forever have a date & time stamp on it because of the timing of her death.
