this first track, Dancing With William, was a song I wrote from the perspective of a Jefferson Airplane fan. I wanted to write a song with visionary lyrics that I thought Paul Kanter would write and sing it like he would have, with a little bit of Marty Balin thrown in. I modeled Dancing With William along the lines of latter-era Airplane, specifically the title track to Long John Silver. for reasons I don't remember now, I used to not care much for this song. now I really like it. very happy with all of it, especially the vocals. and John Tingle's double guitar solo with his acoustic guitar sparkles make it all the better.
